We had so much fun with Mike's parents when they came to visit us. It was really nice to be able to spend so much time with them. Giving them a little taste of our life here in Canada. We love them so much, and can't wait for them to come back and visit.
While they were here we had the opportunity to road trip down to SLC to go to Conference, and to do "a little bit" of shopping. Ok....maybe "a lot." (Just depends on who you ask I guess. Haha.) We had so much fun. Mum and Dad spoiled us rotten!! We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn downtown, and it was amazing. Such a nice hotel, and a perfect location. Madilyn had so much fun in the hotel going up and down the elevator and of course having to push the button. She loved sleeping in her own bed in the same room as us. Our room had a king bed with a pull out bed for her. It worked out great. Cause during the day we would put her bed away and then she had tons of room to run around. Which she loved. She absolutely loved the swimming pool!!! We showed her where it was once, and then everyday after that she showed us where to go. It was so cute watching her get her swimming suit on and running down the hall to the elevator, and to the pool - with the hugest grin on her face. I love her so much!! We went swimming everyday we were there.
We also had tons of fun shopping at all the outlet malls, finding such cute stuff. And when I say "we" I mostly mean "us" - The Girls!!! The boys were good sports though.
We had fun wandering around temple square. Sitting on the grass outside the temple listening to Conference. And watching Madilyn run around with excitement. She loves the temple. And every time we got in the car to go somewhere, she would say "temple, temple." I love that we had the opportunity to take Madilyn down to Salt Lake. The weather was absolutely gorgeous the whole time we were down there. I am pretty sure I could live there!!!
Anyways, I could go on forever about our trip. But I won't. I will just show you some pics instead!!
