Well, Christmas has come and gone once again. But the memories will last forever. Especially this year, as it was Madilyn's First Christmas!! What a fun, special time.
It all started off on Dec 24, 2009. We all got together at Mum & Dad's house, for a yummy turkey Christmas Dinner. The house was full of people we love - and the good times began!!
After dinner, the house was full of visiting and laughs. And then best of all - THE NATIVITY!!!! I will have you all know, that this was absolutely priceless!! It was the cutest Nativity that I have ever seen. This was our first year acting out The Nativity. (Well, since I was little anyways. I guess my mum couldn't get 3 stubborn teenagers to act out the Nativity!! haha.) Anyways, Jaycie played the role of Mary, Bryce was Joseph, a Doll for baby Jesus (since we didn't think that Madilyn could sit still long enough for the role. As well, she was nearly the size of Joseph. So that just wouldn't have worked!!), Marky was the angel, Carmen and her sister were wise men, I was a shepherd, and Little Miss Madilyn was a sheep!!! Not just any sheep, but The Cutest Little Sheep.
After the Nativity, we all opened our Christmas jammies. Then the kidlets watched out the window for Santa to come!!! Then off to bed for the little ones. So that Santa could REALLY come!!
We all slept downstairs at Mum & Dad's.
And sure enough, SANTA DID COME!!! It was a fun-filled morning. Watching as Madilyn really didn't know what to do. She eventually got into the whole swing of it all. And thoroughly enjoyed all the commotion around her. We had the best Christmas ever!!!
